Former Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, once a promising political figure, tragically took his own life and his estranged wifes life in their Annandale home. The couple was in the midst of a divorce, and Fairfax was set to move out due to a court order. Fairfaxs political career was derailed in 2019 when sexual assault allegations surfaced, leading to a significant backlash and the loss of his law firm job. He attempted a comeback run for governor in 2021 but failed to gain traction.
